The artist Denise Quentmeier originally comes from Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany.

After a few moves within Germany, she decided to emigrate to beautiful Switzerland in 2018. This is how Denise Quentmeier came to Zurich. She now works here as a project manager and artist.

She paints almost exclusively with acrylic paints on canvas or wood panel.

Art has always been close to her heart; as a child and teenager she painted, drew and did a lot of crafts. Later as a young adult she modeled and took photos. A few years ago she switched back to brushes, canvas and palette knives.

She has not completed any courses, further training or studies in the fine arts. She learned everything independently by trying things out and partly through YouTube videos.
